What To Expect & How To Prepare for Your Treatments When scheduling your appointment, filling out your paperwork or at any time during your treatment, please, let your therapist know of any concerns, health issues or questions that you may have. It is important that you update your contact & health information regularly, with every session, including all medications. We love children & pets. However, please do not bring them with you, unless they have scheduled appointments. ~ On the day of your appointment ~ If possible is always best to shower, before your appointment. Please, feel free to dress comfortably! If you have any open wounds, cuts, bug bites, etc, please cover them with a sealed water proof bandage. If you have any allergies or contagious conditions please discuss this with your therapist, prior to any treatments. * * If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, it is sometimes possible to send someone else in your place. However, please let us know in *advance, for approval and also that we will be able to prepare for any changes needed. If you are getting a facial treatment & If you are able, kindly remove all cosmetics, prior to your session. For your convenience, make up remover may be found in both the rest room and in the treatment rooms. This step is optional & simply allows for more treatment time. ~ At the Time of Your Appointment~ Arrive a few minutes early, so that you may update your records, as you relax and enjoy a complimentary snack and a beverage. Please turn the volume off on all cell phones and electronics. You may pay for your treatment either before or after your session. Cash Only at this time, please. You will be taken to your treatment room & given time to prepare for your session, in privacy. You may undress to your own comfort level. Professional draping is always practiced at Blue Moon Bodyworks. Your Therapist will knock on the door, before entering. After your session, your therapist will leave the treatment room. Take a few moments to gather your thoughts, before sitting up & rising from the treatment table. At this time you should dress & return to the waiting area. This is a good time to reschedule, & pay for your treatment & purchases. Cancellation Policy & Late Arrivals: Please know that time has been reserved especially for you! Many preparations have been made for you, to ensure that your visit is as wonderful, healthy, happy & relaxing as possible. Should you need to cancel or find that you will be late, kindly, let us know, as soon as possible. * There are times when you may be able to send someone to take your reserved time in your place. Yet, please let us know, as soon as you can, for approval and also that the proper plans & adjustments can be made. Late arrivals will be accommodated to the very best of our ability. However, you may be charged for the original scheduled service. |
